Guitar Flash Game Review

Guitar Flash is a fun and addictive video game that allows players to showcase their prowess in the music genre of their choice. The smorgasbord of choice ranges from popular hits to classic rock tunes. You can purchase individual tracks or go whole hog and purchase an entire album. This is a great way to impress your friends and get yourself into the guitar hero hall of fame. As you progress through the game, you’ll earn coins, which can be used to unlock new songs. Fortunately, the game isn’t a huge time sink, and it doesn’t require a lot of space to play.

Aside from the nirvana of playing the game, you can also try your hand at duels, where you and your opponent try to beat each other’s score. There are a variety of controllers available, but the guitar is the easiest to use. And if your fingers get tired, you can switch to a keyboard.

Getting into the game is easy, thanks to the fact that Guitar Flash is optimized for touch screen use. The screen is small, but it can accommodate multiple controllers and doesn’t require a ton of room for the aforementioned console of your dreams. It’s also a game that can be played with friends, family and co-workers.

Guitar Flash also spawned a series of related games, including Band Hero, which uses the same gameplay model. In the spirit of the Guitar Hero series, the games include the same aforementioned music-centric gaming modes, but with the addition of the latest and greatest creation tools to date. With that said, it is no secret that the game is a hit among the music-obsessed. Several of the major players in the gaming industry have jumped on the bandwagon, which means the competition is stiffer than ever.

Compared to previous iterations, the new game is more streamlined, more user-friendly and more fun to play. You can even take it to the next level by playing with your friends, a.k.a. duels, in the name of fun. However, it may be a bit too easy to become overpowered by the sheer amount of competition, especially if your playing is confined to the same room. That said, there’s no doubt that Guitar Flash is one of the most fun video games you can play. If you’re a fan of musically inclined gamers, or just looking to have a good time with your friends, you won’t want to miss out on the music-themed madness.

Obviously, there are several other guitar-related games worth checking out, such as Rocksmith, which uses real guitars to teach players the ins and outs of the rock n’ roll. Unlike its predecessor, it comes with a built-in tutorial, but you will still have to put in some effort to master the craft.
