Up for bid is an original Rocktron Gainiac rack mountable tube pre-amp. Has original power supply. All knobs are original and work without scratching noises. Only the very lightest of “rack rash” from screws on the mounting ears. Fully active EQ with sweepable mid control. Drive channel covers everything from classic 70’s crunch to hot rodded Marshall thrash tones. Super quiet, no microphonic issues. The clean channel is Fender-ish with a nice sparkle when using single coil or tapped humbucker pick-ups. All jacks as new. This is an excellent addition to your tone shaping equipment collection whether used in a studio or a live rig. Personally, I bought it a few years ago, tracked some demos, blended it into my rig for some color, and found it VERY flexible. Now I am cleaning out the gear pile to keep the clutter down.
