Guitar Ultimate, known as UG or Guitar-Ultimate, is probably the biggest guitar forum on the web with over 3500 pages of guitar discussion forums, featuring both new and seasoned players. The biggest feature of Guitar Ultimate is the free guitar videos, which feature the best techniques and tricks of guitar players from around the world. You can also find a great forum at the end of each lesson. There are many more features available such as tabs for popular scales, chords, guitar theory, and jam sessions.

Guitar ultimate is a membership site, which means you have to pay a one time fee before you can use all the features. Some of the key features are free videos for beginner and advanced players, weekly newsletters with great tips, guitar tab pages that show chord diagrams and how to play them, free practice sheet music, a guitar tuner, and so much more. If you want to learn guitar tabs, you can also download guitar tablatures from the site. You can print these out and take them to your local guitar shop.

I really enjoyed learning how to play the C major scale using tabs. This is one of my favorite methods to learn the guitar chords. tabbing gives me instant feedback that I can hear in my head as I play. The tabs are so easy to read and play that I often forget that I’m actually playing music!

I can’t tell you how many times a week I would look at my guitar tab sheet and go play something. It doesn’t even have to be something that I actually know. Instead, I would play just a riff from a song that I like. I may have even written the riff down. This method is so convenient, that I often do it while I’m watching TV.
