2011 Gibson Les Paul Standard guitar honey burst OHSC excellent condition 

For auction is my 2011 Gibson Les Paul Standard electric guitar. The finish is ‘honey burst.’ The body is mahogany with a maple cap. The neck is mahogany with rosewood fingerboard. The body is not chambered nor weight relieved. The guitar weighs 9 pounds, which is fairly typical of a Les Paul. The guitar is not overly heavy and balances well sitting or standing. The guitar sounds exceptionally good, loud and articulate as expected, with nice sustain and resonates well. FWIW, this guitar has been my usual Les Paul/humbucker guitar for playing out because it does sound quite good. The condition I would call excellent to excellent plus; it does have two dings that can be seen in pictures 9 and 10. The larger ding is on the lower edge and the second ding is on the back of the neck. Neither ding affects playing. The frets have minimal visible wear. The neck is straight. The pickups are Gibsons and have not been changed. There has been no modifications to the wiring or controls. The tuners are original. The strap buttons have been replaced by strap locks. The case is in great shape; the combination lock has never been set. The only case candy is what is pictured. This was a gigging guitar, and the extra stuff (polishing cloth, cord, etc) have been used. This has been an excellent player for me with zero issues, and it’s a looker as well. The only reason I am selling is because I am essentially a tele guy and am eyeing an old esquire for my collection. If you are a LP player or want to be, you will not be disappointed.
